Is John Wall the top rookie?

Let the debate begin!

John Wall

Wall is off-the-charts athletically, able to beat defenses off the dribble and finish well above the rim. He has excellent court vision and a guy who takes and hits bigshots.

NBA COMPARISON: Derrick Rose

Evan Turner

Possesses the ability to get to the rim or pull up for a mid-range jumper, skills that will serve him well at the next level.
His long-range shooting could and probably will improve in time.

NBA comparison: Brandon Roy

Derrick Favors

Posses a decent mid-range game and is able to hit jumpers out to about twelve feet, but low-post play is clearly his bread-and-butter.

NBA comparison: David West or Chris Bosh
Wesley Johnson

Posses a smooth jumper and the ability to slash to the lane more or less at will, Johnson projects as a prototype small forward at the next level.
If his outside shot continues to improve, he'll be a near-impossible assignment for defenders.

NBA comparison: Paul Pierce

From my point of view in 5 years time, John Wall is and will be the biggest star of them all -- naming him the top rookie in this year class.
