Will Shaq retire?

As of this writing Shaq has no team the only teams that are interested are the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Los Angels Lakers and the San Antonio Spurs.
Though there are rumors that the Miami Heat are interested too but i doubt that they can afford him.

Top Jordan shoes for me

Just for fun my fave Jordan shoes used to collect them.
Now i only have like 3 left, gave the others away.

Nike Air Jordan I

Wish i had one.

Nike Air Jordan III

Had one of these but with a different color.

Nike Air Jordan XX

I have one of these at home i remember when i bought it at Eastwood it was reserved for a guy named Lee they told me that he was a UAAP player (i didn't know coz i dont watch UAAP at that time)but i was desperate to but it coz i was inspired by the Jordan commercial and the other malls don't have my size (11 and a half or size 12) so i told him "baka pwede naman gawaan nang paraan" and the guy was kind enough to agree with my plea. To make a long story short Jordan XX is my favorite basketball shoes i only wear it for CHAMPIONSHIP games!

Who's the most clutch player today?

3 seconds left, game on the line. Who's gonna take the last shot?

Here are my picks.

Chauncey Billups

A finals mvp and a true leader.

Game on the line "Mr.big shot" will spot it up whether its from downtown or driving the lane, and most of the time he delivered.

Clutch factor: 7 out of 10.

Carmelo Anthony

A cold blooded shooter in the clutch.
Has no problem hitting unbelievable, hard and tough shots in the clutch.

Clutch factor: 9 out of 10

Dwyane Wade

Makes clutch plays in every possible way you imagine it.
He makes the right decision and also has the knack of making legendary shots when the game is on the line,he also does his part at the defensive end.
Clutch factor: 10 out of 10

Dirk Nowitzki

The best shooting bigmen in history.
Has a knack for winning games for his team especially when his team is down.

Clutch factor: 10 out of 10

and my top pick is a no brainer...
Kobe Bryant A.K.A The Black Mamba

Made the most game winning shot this past season.
And let's face it game on the line, your team down by two. Who will you give the ball to?? Thought so.

Top 5 What if's in NBA history

What if this things never happen?

Top 5
What if Jordan was drafted the top pick by the Houston Rockets?

The greatest player in the game would have been a Rocket's player have they selected him instead they chose Hakeem Olajuwon because they wanted a bigmen, although Hakeem became a two-time champ passing up the GOAT is a mistake in my book.

Top 4

What if Kobe was never traded?

In 1996,#13 pick Kobe was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Vlade Divac.
This would be a mistake, As of this writing Kobe has 5 rings,1Mvp,Countless more achievements and is in the argument of who is the greatest player on the game with Jordan.

Top 3

What if Jordan never retired in 1993?

The debate goes on and on, many say that if Jordan didn't retired early they would have won 8 straight championships or maybe even more.
I wonder if Mj and the Bulls did win 8 straight or more will their ever be a debate with him and Kobe?

Top 2

What if Lebron James never left?

I know this is premature but i keep thinking what if James never left could have they won it all?
I mean with the new coach and last straw for James surely Cleveland would have done something.

Top 1

What if Jordan never made the "SHOT"?

This is where Michael Jordan really became a legend, If he missed the shot who knows maybe he would asked to be traded.
Nobody will ever know.

A new trend in the NBA?

Did the Miami Heat just started a new trend?

Days after the Miami Heat had formed their version of the BIG 3 many are now considering doing their own version.

Here are the possible BIG 3 of the future.

CHRIS PAUL,CARMELO ANTHONY AND AMARE STOUDAMIRE

Considering that Chris Paul wants to go to New York and Carmelo hasn't signed his extension there is huge possibility that this could happen, also considering that New York still has enough money.

Threat to MIAMI'S SUPERFRIENDS? YES!

DWIGHT HOWARD,CHRIS PAUL AND DIRK NOWITZKI

Now the Orlando Magic is the second choice of Chris Paul and if Dirk wants to win a championship he knows that joining Orlando will fulfill his dreams, dunno if Mark Cuban will allow it though (he is the owner of the Dallas Mavericks)

Threat to MIAMI'S SUPERFRIENDS? YES!!

Who will be the future star of the NBA?

In 5 years time who will be the top superstar?

Here are my top guesses.

Kevin Durant
Has the size, the talent and the team to win multiple tiles thus establishing himself a bonafide star.
Has unlimited shooting range, unlimited potential and the guts to hit crucial shots.

Needs to bulk up to avoid injuries.

Derrick Rose

Possess blinding fast speed, off the charts athleticism and uncanny moves to the rim.
Also possess a great team that can help him win titles.

Needs to practice on his shot and range.

Stephen Curry

This might be premature but i see great potential with this star.
Possess unbelievable shooting range and touch, dribble with ease, makes unbelievable plays and passes.

Needs to work on his D,Bulk up and rebound more.

Tyreke Evans

If he could improve on his rookie campaign, he'll be a first ballot hall of famer.
Can drive to basket with ease, has NBA ready bod, Can make big plays down the stretch.

Needs to work in his D and jumpshot.

Is John Wall the top rookie?

Let the debate begin!

John Wall

Wall is off-the-charts athletically, able to beat defenses off the dribble and finish well above the rim. He has excellent court vision and a guy who takes and hits bigshots.

NBA COMPARISON: Derrick Rose

Evan Turner

Possesses the ability to get to the rim or pull up for a mid-range jumper, skills that will serve him well at the next level.
His long-range shooting could and probably will improve in time.

NBA comparison: Brandon Roy

Derrick Favors

Posses a decent mid-range game and is able to hit jumpers out to about twelve feet, but low-post play is clearly his bread-and-butter.

NBA comparison: David West or Chris Bosh
Wesley Johnson

Posses a smooth jumper and the ability to slash to the lane more or less at will, Johnson projects as a prototype small forward at the next level.
If his outside shot continues to improve, he'll be a near-impossible assignment for defenders.

NBA comparison: Paul Pierce

From my point of view in 5 years time, John Wall is and will be the biggest star of them all -- naming him the top rookie in this year class.

Top ten NBA teams of today

LOS ANGELES LAKERS

The BACK TO BACK CHAMPS! Personally i don't like this team, but i have to give credit coz they have won it all for two straight years against two great teams.
This has the potential to start a dynasty coz as i see it there is no team even close to it talent, and they haven't reach their potential yet(if Bynum is healthy the whole playoffs would be easier)

PLAYERS:
Kobe Bryant A.K.A the Black Mamba the second best player in the NBA today and the best player this past decade.

Derek Fisher this guy is the deadliest player today in clutch situations.(yeah, even better than Bryant)

Pau Gasol the most skilled bigmen in the world, the perfect sidekick to Kobe.Enough said.

Ron Artest the hard nosed type of player that relieved Kobe to tough defensive assignments, can make game winning plays.

Lamar Odom has the length and talent to help teams, can hit 15 to 18 footers, even shoot the three from time to time.

Andrew Bynum his presence alone can alter your shot, if this guy is healthy and realized his potential the LAKERS are THE TEAM TO BEAT for the next decade.

Also give credit to the play of Sasha Vujajic, Jordan Farmar and Shannon Brown who gives second life to the Lakers.

BOSTON CELTICS
The runner up to this finals that went to a classic game 7.
Showed us that teamwork wins games, even though they were affected by injuries, age and fatigue they showed great composure as underdogs that almost won it all.

Players:

Kevin Garnett although his skill have diminished and his getting slower as he age the passion is still there, rarely you see a player play with such passion and intensity.

Paul Pierce can create shot for himself which the Celtics badly needed, also the ability to draw fouls is a plus in the playoffs, also has the knack to hit big shots.
Ray Allen the purest shooter today and one of the if not the best shooter today and in history.

Rajan Rondo future star with blazing speed and agility, has the ability to grab long rebounds and snatch steals.

Has a knack to make big plays down the stretch, although his poor free throw shooting hurts.

Glen Davis the energy player of the Celtics, has the ability to create shots inside the paint, has enough strength to bully his way to the rim, although he needs to trim down to gin some some leaping ability!

Kendrick Perkins the player that RARELY smiles a lock down defender and good shot blocker.

For me Nate Robinson,Tony Allen and Rasheed Wallace also deserves notice for their contributions.

If the Celtics can get a scorer who can create shot for himself(ala Wade or James) they have a great chance to beat the Lakers.

2010 top free agents not named LeBron James

Dwyane Wade
One of the most prolific scorers today. He has unbelievable speed and agility to go along with amazing moves to the hoop and insane leaping ability. He is regarded as the next Michael Jordan based on their talent and statistics, Wade also delivers at clutch moments a one time champion with a mentality of being the best and a motto of "fall seven times stand up eight times". This man is a future hall of famer and a living legend any team who could sign him would be a contender instantly, He's that good.
Still need to work on his jumper though.
LIKELY TO SIGN WITH: MIAMI HEAT, CHICAGO AND NEW YORK.

Chris Bosh
A talented forward with a nice jumper can get inside the paint and can bang with the best bigmen in the game and is a double digit rebounder.
Also he commands double teams which can create shots for other, he has the ability to knock down 18 footers with ease.
I really think he will be better of as sidekick to another star (Wade or James).
Needs to have more strength and learn how to draw more fouls.
LIKELY TO SIGN WITH: NEW YORK KNICKS, CHICAGO BULLS, MIAMI HEAT.
Dirk Nowitzki
The greatest European player ever.
Probably the best big shooting man in NBA history.
He can drive to the hoop like a guard amazing for a guy his size,(his listed 7'0 feet tall)can shoot three's,possess the deadly fade away jumper and has the knack of hitting big shots.
Can't get younger and is getting slower.
I personally think that he will not leave Dallas, he just opted out to have a new and longer deal.
LIKELY TO SIGN WITH: DALLAS MAVERICKS.
Paul Pierce
One of the best to ever wear a Celtics uniform.
Has the ability to draw fouls and makes them.
Possess a lethal stepback jumper which is a thing of beauty when perfectly executed.
Has the killer instinct to hit the big shots.
Also known as the " TRUTH", you can't handle the truth!
But sometimes tends to force the issue too much that leads to turnovers or ill-adviced shots.
Like Dirk,Pierce opted out to have a new contract to secure his future.
LIKELY TO SIGN WITH: BOSTON CELTICS.
Amare Stoudamire
A talented forward who has benefited in the pick and roll type of play.
Has the ability to finish strong with ferocious dunks that are almost unblockable.
He can also hit 15 to 18 footers regularly.
Although he is an average rebounder for his size and mediocre defender at best but the biggest knack on him is his an injury prone player but he showed he can rebound to those type of injury(but teams are still worried)
LIKELY TO SIGN WITH:NEW YORK KNICKS AND MIAMI HEAT

And that's it, for me this are the only players who are worth to be considered "Star" players.
If you have a player worth debating for i'm up for it! thanks!
